MCP

The rankpeak MCP server lets an AI assistant read and edit your articles, review your keywords and check your AI visibility, with your permissions. It works with any client that supports remote MCP servers and OAuth.

1. Add the server

Server URL:

https://rankpeak.co/api/mcp

Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, then paste the URL.
ChatGPT: Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode, then create a connector with the URL and OAuth authentication.
Cursor: add the server to ~/.cursor/mcp.json.
Claude Code: run the command below, then /mcp to sign in.

2. Approve the connection

The assistant opens rankpeak in your browser. Sign in, choose the organization and click Allow access. The assistant acts as you: viewers can read, editors can also change articles. Disconnect it any time in Settings → Security.

3. Tools

list_articles, list_keywords and get_ai_visibility take an optional website (id, domain or name) and otherwise use your first website. get_article and update_article take the article id from list_articles.

list_websites: Your organization's websites, with their plan.
list_articles: Articles of a website, newest first, optionally filtered by status.
get_article: An article's title, meta description and Markdown body.
update_article: Changes an article's title, meta description or body (owners, admins and editors).
list_keywords: Tracked keywords with search volume, competition, opportunity and intent.
get_ai_visibility: The latest AI visibility check: score, change and answers per question.
